carrynerd is a spec index for bags — volume, weight, dimensions and price, read from what brands publish about their own products and normalised so they can be compared across makers who all describe them differently. It holds 7,503 models from 115 brands, covering 29,032 individual SKUs.
Brands' own published product data: public storefront sources: Shopify products.json, WooCommerce Store API, Magento storefront GraphQL, the Bellroy products API, and published product pages. Nothing is
bought, licensed or taken from another comparison site, and no figure
here is estimated, interpolated or converted from a unit the brand did
not state. The crawler reads public endpoints only, checks robots.txt first,
paces its requests and identifies itself with a link to a page explaining what it is.
Images are referenced at the brand's own URLs rather than copied, and
every model page links back to the product it describes.
Five stages, run in order, every night.
